Legacy system support – no rise in price
Most of our customers have genuine reasons for using legacy systems. These reasons include:
- Applications that run an older version of IOS. Therefore, needing to keep using older hardware models.
- Short term contracts for specific projects. These may have a limited lifespan, and older equipment will do the job just fine.
- It may be costly to re-train technical staff on newer IOS levels
Many older systems are now being refused OEM support. This is often a tactic used to force a migration to more modern equipment, hence a further outlay of cost. We understand that you DO have a choice and that you don’t have to go out to buy the latest and greatest. If it works fine, why not keep it a while, safe in the knowledge that if the worst happens, you’re covered anyway – at a fraction of the cost!
